At the end of this workshop, all participants will be able to:

  • Provide VMMC providers with the tools to implement the infection control programme effectively in the programme
  • To protect themselves and others from the transmission of infections.

Specific objectives of this workshop are to:

  • Provide directions and information in relation to standard guidelines and precautions for control of infections VMMC.
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, and reprocessing of reusable equipment.
  • Waste management.
  • Protection of health care workers from transmissible infections.
