Jacqueline Paterson is a Professional Nurse with diplomas in Midwifery, Community Health, and Primary Health Care. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BCur) and a Master’s Degree in Public Health. Jackie has been working in public health for 34 years. She has worked in the areas of Health Information systems, District Health Management and Communicable Diseases with a special emphasis on HIV and TB.
Before joining The Aurum Group, Jackie was Programme Manager at Health Systems Trust running their PEPFAR-funded care and treatment grant. Jackie has experience in training and curriculum development. While employed by the Department of Health as Deputy Manager: District Health Development, she was responsible for the portfolio of monitoring and evaluation for the district, this included TB and HIV data systems, as well as DHIS, expenditure data and training databases. Jackie is passionate about enabling communities to access health care.
