Description

The Head of Department (HOD) Clinical Operations will be responsible to plan, direct, and evaluate all clinical activities within CHAPS Programmes

Responsibilities

Reporting to the CEO, the HoD Clinical Operations will practice/undertake:

  • Oversight, Programme Development and Strategic Guidance across all projects implemented by CHAPS
  • To ensure that operational strategies are implemented to support the business objectives
  • Manage the internal operational and clinical teams to assist in improving business process efficiency, thereby maximizing the success of the respective projects
  • Analyse data pertinent to programme area and develop strategies for programme improvement in that area
  • Identify gaps in programme areas and skills or capacity and develop strategies to address these
  • Engage in programme review on a quarterly basis and provide feedback to internal and external stakeholders
  • Mentorship and supervision of the management team members ensuring optimal performance and delivery of job requirements.
  • Build and maintain key client and associate relationships.
  • Identify opportunities for development and delivery of new programmes.
  • Assistance in the management of key relationships to promote CHAPS business objectives

Qualifications

Education: Master’s Degree in Public Health, Project Management or equivalent
